What You’ll Need:

  • 12.5 ounce bag of M&Ms
  • 10 packs of regular-sized Kit Kat bars
  • Nine-inch cake (two layers)
  • Frosting
  • Ribbon

How To Make Kit Kat Cake:

  1. Frost the top of one of the layers of cake. Make sure the cake is cool before you start.
  2. Place the second layer of cake on top.
  3. Frost the top and sides. Remember, it does not have to be frosted smoothly since it is going to be covered by candy!
  4. Break the Kit Kats into bars of two and stick them all around the sides of the cake.
  5. Tie the Kit Kats in place with a ribbon.
  6. Cover the top of the cake with M&Ms.

Easy peasy! Oh, and a common question that is asked: How do I cut the cake? Answer: You can slice the cake neatly between every two Kit Kat bars.
